(Yes, this is really the name) Their specialty is steamed crabs and prices are very reasonable. I have heard people raving over their shrimp selection as well. Lake Anna Outfitters is now open for business-located at the High Point Marina facility, it both rents and sells kayaks and all sorts of fun Lake Anna themed items. They will also do pick up and delivery to your location. Fun to have on vacation!

Stampmill Sam’s Gold Adventure is being offered this summer at Lake Anna State Park. Not too many people realize the rich history we have in this area. Gold mining in the streams feeding the lake (and once the North Anna and Pamunkey Rivers) was a big vocation in the 19th century. The rangers at that state park show you how to still look for those nuggets -call the park or check their web site for dates and times. A fun thing to do for all ages.
